“In the exhibition WORKED SHOOT was presented the 30mn vidéo Confessions. In it, the artists stage themselves in a reality TV show to humorously and vulnerably address the stereotypes surrounding the art world and the pressures placed on women artists. Using the first episode of season 10 of an iconic reality TV show as their narrative framework, they insert themselves directly into the original scenes. Through a parodic and sensitive montage, the video reveals the tensions between social performance, gender norms, and the desire for sisterhood.” Curation and text by Camille Martin.
