Voices of Now,

Installation, wood, drywall, acrylic paint, microphone, speaker, 210 × 400 × 81 cm

HMCT Art Center, Los Angeles, 2017

Installation conceived during a residency at HMCT Art Center, inspired by the cinematic fantasised spaces of Los Angeles villas. The room first manipulates a sense of scale between the body, maquette, sculpture and house. The inside and outside space don’t match, while a microphone hangs and reverberates inside highlighting the misapprehension of scale.
